Spectrums

Some of the colours and spectrums of Chiswick Park can be seen below.
'Same Difference'You may remember a few weeks ago I posted an image of this bush. Well here it is now. You can see how the colours have blended together whereas before they were very different.
I think this may be my favourite picture of all time. I love the way there are so many colours altogether its like a grey sunrise hence the name 'Grey Sunrise'.
Okay this isn't so much a spectrum more of a pattern or reeds. But I still thought it was worthy of a place on my blog thats why I decided to call this pic, 'Scraper'. It scraped it's way onto the page and it looks like the stems are scraping the waters edge.

It's time for my close up

This week I'm getting up close and personal to some of the plants who have survived this far!
Sorry about the picture auality of this one, I really had to zoom in close. This image is called 'Mini Pine Cones' - they look like pine cones but...they aren't!
'Hair' This plant and its strange, soft parts remindered me of hair!

Winter Wrapping

No, this post isn't about how to wrap Christmas presents - it is about how the trees in Chiswick Park prepare for winter.
'Gloves' I sthat how you spell it? Yes I'm pretty sure that's how you spell gloves, unless of course of course it's spelt gloves's??? Anyway I thought this tree looked like a hand with a certain piece of hand clothing.
'Earmuffs' I'm not gonna even try to guess how to spell that! Yes these weird blobby blotches on the tree made it look like the tree had warts v. funny. But as it is nearly Christmas I won't be rude about a tree, so I'll call them 'Earmuffs' !!!

50 Shades of Autumn

I seem to have some obsession with 50 shades - don't know why as I haven't read it.

Similar to the image below I have called this pic, 'Mexican Wave' it looks like the srubs are raising their arms in a Mexican wave way!
Red Shift - You can tell I have been studying Physics recently! Yes this bush reminded me of when you have red shift.
Christmas Tree Okay this is obviously not a christmas tree but the way it was standing made it look allmost 2D!
