Great Swoops

I was wondering around Chiswick Park yesterday ( looking for inspiration) when I noticed that a few of the trees swooped.
'Trio' Okay this picture isn't fanatstic ; it was hard to get the whole idea of the swooping trees into one frame.
'Together' It looks like the two trees are combined together to make one long branch!
' I am the one and....' This one was funny as the swooping branch was the only one on the tree!

Pretty Twisted...

Ah the brilliance of tree angles. In fact I think they are so amazing we should learn about them instead of cos, sin and tan!

'Memories' If you read my blog regualary, which of course not many of you do, then you'll remember in the summer I did a feature on this tree with me sitting in it. Of course you can see that it has changed a lot  since then!
'Pretty Twisted' So I'm not entirely sure whether this is two trees twisted into one or just one pretty twisted tree??!!
'Dominos' These trees look like they are about to collapse on one another! Lol:)

It's begining to look a lot like Christmas

With it being the first blog post of Decemeber and what with Christmas and all I thought i would dedicate this post to Christmas.
Aren't these just too cute? There were a whole bunch of these 'Mini Christmas Trees' so of course I couldn't resist taking a few pictures.
'Holly' Not very imaginative I know but what else could I call this pic? Any ideas much appreciated!
Right so these aren't the obvious red berries we think of ( there not even really red) but cut me some slack I have to work in a confind area!

Spectrums

Some of the colours and spectrums of Chiswick Park can be seen below.
'Same Difference'You may remember a few weeks ago I posted an image of this bush. Well here it is now. You can see how the colours have blended together whereas before they were very different.
I think this may be my favourite picture of all time. I love the way there are so many colours altogether its like a grey sunrise hence the name 'Grey Sunrise'.
Okay this isn't so much a spectrum more of a pattern or reeds. But I still thought it was worthy of a place on my blog thats why I decided to call this pic, 'Scraper'. It scraped it's way onto the page and it looks like the stems are scraping the waters edge.

It's time for my close up

This week I'm getting up close and personal to some of the plants who have survived this far!
Sorry about the picture auality of this one, I really had to zoom in close. This image is called 'Mini Pine Cones' - they look like pine cones but...they aren't!
'Hair' This plant and its strange, soft parts remindered me of hair!

Winter Wrapping

No, this post isn't about how to wrap Christmas presents - it is about how the trees in Chiswick Park prepare for winter.
'Gloves' I sthat how you spell it? Yes I'm pretty sure that's how you spell gloves, unless of course of course it's spelt gloves's??? Anyway I thought this tree looked like a hand with a certain piece of hand clothing.
'Earmuffs' I'm not gonna even try to guess how to spell that! Yes these weird blobby blotches on the tree made it look like the tree had warts v. funny. But as it is nearly Christmas I won't be rude about a tree, so I'll call them 'Earmuffs' !!!

50 Shades of Autumn

I seem to have some obsession with 50 shades - don't know why as I haven't read it.

Similar to the image below I have called this pic, 'Mexican Wave' it looks like the srubs are raising their arms in a Mexican wave way!
Red Shift - You can tell I have been studying Physics recently! Yes this bush reminded me of when you have red shift.
Christmas Tree Okay this is obviously not a christmas tree but the way it was standing made it look allmost 2D!

Out in the world

This week I couldn't find that many good things to take pictures of so I took pictures on peoples front gardens instead. STALKER!!!! I won't name them as I don't want to be rude!

The hill on this road makes a lovely angle!
Okay, this picture was taken directly in someones garden! Sorry:)
So many trees - so colourful!

Flowers Cont'd

Okay so I've shown you the flowers of the world (not quite but you get it). So this week I thought i'd take some pics of the flowers in my home and post them here.Is it cheating?? I think not!
'Pink'. Well, I love this pink in this picture. Olivia's kitchen windowsill.

'Dead' This is a pic of my mum's orchid. SH eaccidently broke a bit off and thought she had killed it. However buds started to grow and here we are.

'New Life' Please excuse the hidious angle of the picture - I haven't figured out how to rotate a picture on Blogger yet. Despite the fact hat Winter is close I thought it was cool how these buds were emerging:)

Flowers of the world

Hello! This weeks post is all about flowers. With Winter approaching the number of flowers are drastically decreasing.

'Ah Pink' This was the only flower on the bush/shrub/plant that I could see. Normally I hate pink however when I saw this I just fell in love.
' The Leaves are Coming' The leaves on this bush/shrub/plant looked huge compared to the little white showerheads.
'Bill/Ben / Mini Sunflower' As you can see I struggled what to call this image. The flower was tiny like the size of a, well i don't know what really but something small.

Here come the birds

Oh how I really love birds! So these pictures have those fluffy creatures in mind.
'Volcano' I thought it looked like a volcano was about to erupt under this poor coot! Really him had just come up and the ripples were in fact well ripples.
'Mushroom' Remember those cygnets I posted a few weeks ago? Well heres one of them now! Don't they look so big anf fluffy? I called this image 'Mushroom' as I thought the different colours on its wings looked like the underside of a mushroom.
'All together now' Some of the birds I've featured on this blog together! Yey. I took this image on the bridge in case you thought I was sitting in a tree again!

Unusual shapes

Hi! Here are this weeks pics as promised.
'Which Way?' These tree looked like it was 2D and reminded me of a sign post.
'Drinking' I thought that this tree was sooo funny! It looks like a duck is drinking out of the pond. It's a bit like the picture of the swan that I posted last week.
'Two' I don't know why this plant appealed to me I just thought that it would make an unusual picture!

Heads and Tails

These pictures are of the wildlife at Chiswick Park.
'Comb over' This is a picture of Chiswicks local heron. The black streak looks like a comb over.
'Mummy Mouse' A family of mice live next to the bridge in Chiswick Park and this one was one of the adults.
' Ladle' One of the two swans in Chiswick was feeding from the floor where there were seeds. I think on the end of its beak is a feather. I gave this picture its name as I have always thought that swan necks look like ladles.

Looking up

Hello! This weeks pictures where taken by me standing under a tree and looking up with the lense through the leaves. I don't know what trees these leaves belong to though.

Hmmm, how about '50 Shades of Green'?
'Little Stars'. I thought that these leaves looked like stars like those crisps in the shape of stars.
'Veins' This image looks like someones veins.

Up high!

This weeks pictures were taken by me while I was sitting in a tree. I warn you they aren't as interesting as usual but I felt I needed to attack this weeks post from a different angle! No pun intended!:)
Hook. Looks like one of those claw grabby things that you get in arcades that take all your money...

Tail End of a Platypus. Well the way the too branches are shaped it looks like well, the tail end of a Platypus.
I don't even think I can begin to figure out what this picture looks like. Maybe a tree perhaps? Or is that too radical?

THE MONSTER!!!!!This is me actually sitting on the tree. Gosh my nose is huge! Not as bad as those sunglasses though.

Shake it off

This series of pictures are of a goose. I managed to capture it in action!:)
' The Tutu' This first picture looked like the goose was wearing a tutu! Lols....
This picture I struggled on because I thought it looked a bit like a rubber chicken that you would give to a pet. But then I thought no, it looks like the goose is getting ready to dive into the lake. So I decided to call it ' Head first'.
This one I also struggled on... so much so that I thought I'd leave it to my readers to decide on a name!

The angles of life

This weeks pictures are about the different angles of trees. Enjoy!

'The Arrow' this tree was just so strange, I didn't even think it was possible to happen.

'Curtain of Leaves' The tree looked simply like a curtain of leaves.

'Bending' This image was taken in the middle of a bush. All around me there were bits of tree and wood.
